Sheena’s Approach to Yoga
Sheena McCallion has practised yoga for twelve years, and is certified through the Prairie Yoga Centre with Kelly Green in Regina. She has since studied in Calgary, India and Saskatoon.

Sheena’s training and practice has been varied, so her teaching style is eclectic, influenced by Iyengar, Bikram, and Jivamukti styles of yoga, among others, and Vipassana and Metta meditation practices.
As a Clinical Social Worker, Sheena is particularly interested in the impact of yoga on mood and personal growth through self-discovery. She hopes to foster an attitude of compassion and self-acceptance in her students. She also enjoys teaching special classes involving relationship-building through yoga, such as Mom and Baby Yoga and Partner Yoga.
